An initial assessment will take between 1-2 hours, follow up sessions can be 30, 45 or 60mins in duration if required.
Home based assessments
No need to travel or leave the comfort of your own home – we come to you!
Assessment of daily living aids/equipment which can help you to be more independent at home e.g. to reduce effort and improve safety of getting on/off toilet, in/out of bed, up/down stairs.
Assessment and measuring up service for internal and external rails (to negotiate steps within or outside home).
Fitting service not included but advice/details available on local services who can assist with this.
Manual handling assessment – to advise and teach strategies to assist others to help you move around in the safest and best way possible
Virtual assessments
Using Zoom, Teams, Skype or Google Meet, I am able to arrange virtual/video assessments where appropriate. This is dependent on the reason for assessment, please contact to discuss your requirements.
OT Reports
A comprehensive OT report is provided following initial assessment. This covers all areas that have been assessed and contains recommendations for interventions or equipment provisions.
